About Us

We are the Independent Student Press Association (ISPA) — an evergrowing student-led network committed to independent, ethical, and fearless journalism.

Our role is to support, connect, and represent student journalists, while defending press freedom on campuses and beyond. We believe student media plays a vital role in holding institutions to account, amplifying underrepresented voices, and reporting on issues that directly affect our communities.

Through collaboration, passionate dedication, and solidarity, we aim to strengthen student journalism and protect its independence. This space exists for student reporters, editors, photographers, and media creators who care about telling the truth and telling it well.

We're excited to begin this journey and to work alongside student journalists across the world to convey its beautiful stories!
